  1. no, but the fur on their face does the same job as whiskers/normal hairs, i.e. increased sense via touch

    It is difficult to clearly show their whiskers because the fur around the face is white and frizzy anyway. These next photos are much clearer.

  3. yes pandas do have whiskers though you can barely see them you can tell when you look at the face and around the nose you see little black hole that is where the whiskers come from animals use their whiskers to help find food and some help as a guide around in the dark, whisker help tell the animal when to close their eyes and when somthing brushes against the whiskers nerves send signals to the animal brain telling the animal how to react http://www.flickr.com/photos/10793372@N0...
