  1. They actually have 2.

    One controls the function of the cell (macro nucleus), the other for reproduction (micro nucleus).

    Even though this single cellular creature has only 1 cell, its fully multifunctional as it has a mouth, a**s, legs etc.

    The nucleus can be viewed under a microscope (provided you stop them from moving all over your tray / good luck with that)

    Unlike multi-cellular organisms where function is divided amongst grouped cell's, paramecium is unicellular and has all its functions within a single cell.


  2. Technically, no. It They have a macro nucleus and a micro nucleus.
