DO parents know or think that there child is ugly or would they always considered them beautiful?

Do dads think the same way as the moms?

Your own child is the most beautiful and precious person in the world. He/she could have the face like shrek and still be beautiful, love is beautiful for both parents, and a child is love.

What I have just said will not make any sense unless you're a parent.

Ma and Dad take their child as beautiful even though the the child may have some flaws, like a crow feeling it's young one as GOLDEN.

Moms love their children so much that they are beautiful to them.

Another thing that makes their children beautiful is that they are a symbol of the love between them and the father of the children.

Even though their features aren't as "pretty" as some, to a mother the child is beautiful.

I don't know for sure about dads, never been one, just a mom.

At the time of birth, the mother is flooded with brain chemicals that cause her to bond with the child and see it in positive ways. Most fathers think a new born looks like an alien, sorry but that's the truth. Obviously, some fathers have been intensely looking forward to it, and feel extremely positively about it, and therefore see the child through "beauty lenses" regardless of what it actually looks like, but the majority don't. As the child grows up, starts to look more like a person with characteristics of both which they can see in the child, it can talk etc, then I'd say yes most parents at that stage see themselves in the child and therefore are quite protective and psotivie about them. It's been proven that we are attracted to people with similar genetics to us so a child that has a similar appearance to you, is likely to be automatically deemed better looking (in a non sexual, appearance only way), then others from other genetic ponds.

Most parents have no idea what having a new born is like, but the mother grew the child in her so usually starts off with a much greater bond to the child. Things like "post natal depression" etc are likely more sleep deprivation AND nutrient deprivation in the mother... just think about all the child's calcium for it's bones--- it came from her.
