  1. 14-18, most definitely! I had a boyfriend in Kindergarden and my parents didn't mind, it was very innocent. Dating, like group dating, is encouraged from 14-16. When you are 17 and 18, I think you are old enough to be alone on a date. But, it also depends on the maturity and responsibility levels of each teenager. A known trouble-maker and wild child maybe shouldn't be dating...

    Not a parent, though...=)

  2. my parents let me date at 13 but i dont tell em anything and wen i do its wat they wana hear

  3. no my parents didnt......i mean..........no parent does!

but then...mah daughter came to me the other day after returnin from 3 months o college n went.....PAPA I AINT A VIRGIN NO MORE!

n i slapped her on the face twice......went.......

    I ****** SENT U TO COLLEGE........N U STILL SAY "AINT"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    i luv u granmda lee!

  4. I think thats okay. Some parents don't like it but mine didn't care. I was 17 when I had my first bf. But I think that at that age is a good age, even 14 is okay.

  5. I didn't date until I was 16 and the rule is the same for my kids, they are also not to date until they are 16 either.

  6. well most let them but expect them not to get to serious.

my mom for example..me and my bf have been together for over a year. and she hates it. she doesnt care about me havin a bf she just dont want me gettin serious. im a bit more serious then she thinks tho. lol. jst dont let ur parents get in the way of u being happy...i dont

  7. i had them

  8. No...

My parents say that when I date it should be to get married.  Not just to give little pieces of my heart away.

    I agree...

So, the answer in my case is... No my parents do mt believe in teens ages 14-18 to have relationships.

  9. I have to have parent permission just to leave the house to get somthing out of the yard. my parents are a bunch of a holes

  10. My parents rule for me, was NO boyfriend until age 16.  Even then.. it mostly a school thing.

Now I have a daughter, she is only 8 months old, haha, but we already say NO boyfriend till age 30.

    :)

  11. 14= too scared to go out with guys

    15=not popular enough to date

16=concentrated in getting my license and was still shy and school stuff to date

17= still focused on school and friends.

18= dated a couple times. blind dates.

  12. My parents allowed me. As long as I didnt go around behind their back, they were ok with it. I had strict rules, no door closed, no sleep overs, parents had to be home etc etc

  13. my parents' rule was that you couldn't date until you were 16.

  14. i'm 22 and i still ain't been on a date. but as a parent, my kid can't date til he's 15.

  15. depends on the parent and gender. Usually if your a girl then dad's don't like you dating. But if your a boy than they usually don't care as much.

  16. If they don't they should.

It's a part of growing up and becoming a person.

  17. It doesn't matter. Parents who forbid relationships will find out very quickly that teens have them anyway.

  18. Make sure there responsible.

Make sure they know not to have s*x.

I am 14 and talking to a 16 year old.

    And we've been responsible....

We have already decided that we want to wait for a long time till s*x.

That were not going to say "I love you" till the right time comes.

And for 18 year olds.... my brother got married saturday and he and his wife is both 18. and been dating since 15.

    ======================================...

But I'm not aloud to go on a date. As in he isn't aloud to pick me up in his car till I start school in the fall and that is on special occasions (Homecoming) But if my parents bring me to the movies and meet him they don't care. They just don't want me to get hurt.
