This parents wouldn't appreciate it either as the cotton fibers can mess up the filter.  Obviously you feel a need to wear something under your suit and while you prefer to avoid them, the speedo/brief style suit is the best option.  If you are getting changed alone and change after alone, no one will even know you have it on and you will have the support you are looking and not aggrevating your parents.  Sounds like a great solution to consider!

If I was your parent, yes. The cotton in your underwear clog up the filters with cotton fibers. The mesh lining in your swim shorts takes care of all issues necessary. If you cut the lining out, you wrote it--Speedo brief time under the boardies.
