I do not think they know just like they dont know the pictures that get posted on MySpace and Facebook.  Most of the pictures on Y/A ask the question do you think Im attractive.  Sounds like self esteem issues when you have to ask perfect strangers about a picture of yourself.  Its like they are trying to make it a dating service for kids prolly not even old enough to date.
