  1. Peanut oil certainly will boil water when burned.

    But you would probably want to remove most of the oil and use the remaining meal for  food.

    Peanut butter is of course made with a combination of the oil and meal, but it does not need all the oil to be good PB.


  2. Yep - Put a peanut on a paper clip and set it on fire.  You can bring the contents of a test tube to boiling.

  3. Almonds and peanuts are so nutrient dense that a single nut packs enough calories to heat up half a cup of water. Nuts are also high in magnesium and fiber, two proven energy boosters.
