Do pens ever run out of ink?

if you use it for a long time does it run out of ink or when ever the ink doesnt come out you just have to shake it.

it does--it can also dry.

when you open up the pen you should see how much ink there is left, you can also try refills when you have no more ink; or get a new pen!

cheap gel pens i have found can run out after a few days of vigorous use. i am sure ballpoint pens run out but it has never happened to me before.

a pen much like a tube of chap stick you loose it before you run out.

Yes, pens eventually run out of ink.

Yes, they do run out of ink.. I don't bother shaking it unless it's a new pen.. it's not worth my sanity to get it to work.. I'll just get another pen!

They not only run out of ink, sometimes they explode.  I've had that happen a few times and ended up with ink everywhere. Hairspray is a good way to get it out of clothes.
