Not as much as people from Ipswich.

It's because Logan rhymes with "bogan", as in "nasty bogan from Logan". But that's all about when Logan was just a distant suburb of Brisbane, with only the Hyperdome the jewel amongst all those car yards and discount warehouses.

Since the last 10 years, however, Logan's become a pretty little satellite town of Brisbane. Ipswich, on the other hand, is still in-bred coalminers. Just joking!

The media make it out to be a bad place to live as you will always hear on the news if there was a car chase they make a point of saying Logan but if it happened in a suburb north of Brisbane they wouldn't refer to the suburb.  

When you say Logan (are you talking about newly named Woodridge or the Logan City Council area in general) as there are some very nice suburbs that form Logan as a whole.  

It also happens to people who may live in areas like Inala, Ipswich, Browns Plains & Caboolture/Deception Bay.
