Do people Get payed To Recycle in Canada?

I doing a report on rubish and pollution. And think of ways to improve our enviroment. I need examples of grocery stores, and business, ext. paying people to recycle. I would prefer examples from canada.

  4. hey,

    my family is from canada and i recall last time i visited that they recycle most things other than organic waste. Plastic, newspaper, other paper, cardboard were separated. Tin cans and glass of each different colours all went separately but i don't remember if they were paid to recycle , it was just a "done thing". However the bottle caps from bottles of beer and the tabs from the cans were collected and when enough were collected they could, i think, be exchanged for groceries or tokens of some sort.
