Do people bidding on ebay items drive you up the wall?? Are people really that dumb??

I hate it when there is something I want on ebay and some numbskulls run up the bid on each other days before the auction ends. Do they not realize they could get the item much cheaper if they would just wait til the last minute to start trying to outbid other bidders. This is a huge pet peeve of mine!

I often wonder if its the seller on another account and just trying to drive up the price.

sometimes that is because they both have a high maximum bid and it automatically runs the bid up to that point.

MOST of the time, it's just stupidity though..............can't stand it. I've seen used items go for more than NEW price due to bid wars....stupid

oh why do u care! things like this happen everywhere n in every field... just be happy u realized it n u wont do something that stupid! :)

Yes it drives me insane! I always wait till the last 5 minutes of an auction before I start a bid, usually I bid with under two minutes left.
