Because if they were born blind, they have never seen anything and they don't know what things look like...

  1. They dream as they "see" It could be shadows or feelings and sounds.

  2. No. I believe not. They can't even see darkness/black. Just nothing no sight at all. So no dream to see

  3. Don't think so, since they are unfamiliar with any visual stimuli. However, it's an interesting question, and I'd like to know the real answer as well.

  4. Answer from somebody who has been blind since she was fairly young:

" Yes, blind people do dream. What they see in their dreams depends on how much they could ever see. If someone has been totally blind since birth, they only have auditory dreams. If someone such as I, has had a measure of sight, then that person dreams with that measure of sight. I still dream as though I can see, colors included. For people I've met since, their faces are just blurs or how I imagine they look. To me, someone like my mother looks forever 30. "

    Hope this helped!

  5. Exactly. That is one of life's eternal conundrums, isn't it? Guess we'll never really know...

  6. I dont believe so because they dont have experience seeing colors or any other visuals on thing so they wont know what anything looks like, they might still dream but I dont think it will be the same as people who have eyesight, or those who weren't born blind
