Do people buy stuff from police auctions and resell them online for alot more, is that possible?

Im looking trough some of this stuff and it seems almost too good to be true, 5 thousand dollar watches for a couple hundred bucks? Computers for a couple hundred? Is there a catch or do people really make money doing this?

Yes, it is possible but you have to know what you are doing, how much things are worth and what they are going to sell for online.  I even see some police auctions selling on eBay.
