  1. Some people use the anonymity of the Internet to be pills, but no one has to swallow bad behavior.  And just as no one should drink and drive, no one should drink and Yahoo! Answer.

  2. Yes I get mails from several of the members in this section. I always reply as soon as I can, and there are one or two I love to hear from, they fair brighten the day for me. lol.

  3. I have had good and bad emails from seniors, some with sage words of advice who then close their email to a response.

  4. So far I had one person ask to email me as we had the same hobby, knitting hats for cancer pts. and newborn babies, I told her I would be delighted to correspond with her, unfortunately she never responded.

  5. Nobody has ever emailed me.   :(

  8. I am a senior but never have emailed any one: however, I have no problem with anyone mailing me. You can reach me at ms_sunshine1998@yahoo.com. I would be happy to  talk to you.

I think there are people who just want to ask and answer question but not start a conversation or be contacted for persona reasons. But, I do not find that senior are any more likely to not want to be contacted. It seems to me that in general, most people prefer not to be contacted for various reasons.

Have a great Day and Email me any time. I may not be able to respond soon because I am going from Columbia, SC to Seattle , WA for a month. I will be in the hospital most of that time. I am leaving on September 2,2008.

Have a great day and hope someone will allow you to contact them.

  9. I have in fact received several emails from folks from Seniors. It makes me feel good to know that there are folks out there that really do care. Once in a great while I will get a ''hate'' email. But before I can respond to it, they have closed their email again. To me that is the coward way out of it. But what they don't know is, they won't get any ''hate'' email back from me.

You know what is really sad is that when kids have a dispute about something, they end up working the problem out and end up being ''friends'' again. But when some adults have a dispute, they don't try to work out the problem, they just don't talk to each other to solve the problem. They shut folks out or in this case, close their email so as not to talk it out. When someone has a problem with me, I try to work it out, but if they close me out, there is nothing that I can do about it.

  10. Yes I get some e-mails from the seniors, I have made friends with over the time I have been on Q&A. 13. If someone does not allow email, why bother with them?  Some people who have a working email seem to enjoy using their Q's to insult people in public once you give them an honest answer...go figure!

I guess there's no way to know what a person's intentions are until they stick it in your face...up front & personal & for all the world to see!

  14. Apologies to all... because there are a couple regulars here that are in fact trolls I have had to make may profile unavailable and not allow email.
