Do people ever eat fresh matki pods (moth bean, muth bean) like green beans?

I want to grow muth bean in my garden this year and would like to know if it can be used as a fresh vegetable, or if it is only eaten as a dry bean and cooked as dal.

no it can be used in a dried form,moong bans can be cooked and sprouted
