Do people ever have strabismus where both eyes are turned in?

Whenever I've read about Strabismus, it always just mentions one eye being turned in. Does it ever occur where both eyes turn in at the same time? How often does this happen?

Thank you very much!

  1. It does with me and the doctors aren't sure about what to do or how to fix it. We tried bifocals, but that only worked for three months and the doctor said it was improving when I knew it wasn't. Hopefully I can find a good doctor soon to help me. Anyway I've noticed both eyes cross more often when I'm tired or when I've been reading something too long. It takes a couple seconds to fix unless it's really bad, then I just close my eyes for a while. Hope I helped!

  2. Yes, it does happen. And when both the eyes converge or diverge, it is called "Bilateral Strabismus".
