Do people ever stop to think about how they sound? I hear all these Q's about, I can't believe Palin paraded ?

her whole family around, and that I can't believe she had that baby out that late. I, nor has anyone ever even given a second thought about Obama's kids being out late, because that is just stupid. Of course the children should be there, they always are. Why are people asking these ridiculous questions about Palins family? Is she supposed to be embarrassed of them and hide them? Then what would people say?

They weren't expecting a future SuperStar.

So, they scrape the barrel with hypocrisy and think that no one else will see how Transparent Their Fear is over Palin.

1. - Every Convention has the Whole Family out front after a Speech -- It's standard Practice in Both Parties.

2. ...and What about Obama pushing Neurotic Liberal Values on the Country ?

The conservatives try to show the Advantage of their Beliefs.

The Liberals push Legislation to Tell Us ALL How we MUST Behave.

A Parent does their Best to pass on Values to their Children.

But, REALITY is that, even the Most "Family Valued" Parents can NOT be assured that their Teenager will always follow their Advice, due to giving-in to their Hormones or Peer Pressure, etc,

That does NOT Change the Belief System of This Candidate about Advocating "Teenage Abstinence."

If fact - She has a Case right in front of her - "See What Happens when Teenagers are NOT ABSTINANT ? -- It even happened to My Daughter because she "gave in."

Sorry,  no developmentally disabled 4 month old baby should be up that late, and out in the middle of all that noise,  media madness and hyperactivity.  I don't buy that it was for the benefit of the baby. Sorry.  

Just wondering.  Where was Sarah the night Bristol  was actively involved in conceiving her baby?  Did she know where her daughter was?

Yeah, that's fair enough. You're right - nobody gave a toss about the Obama girls being out late (except probably their parents). And I thought it was part of political etiquette - especially when you're an utter unknown, as Palin is - to introduce the would-be First - and Second - families to the voters and the media. I've got plenty to say about Governor Palin and why she should never be allowed anywhere near the levers of power, but to whine about her kids being 'paraded' at the Convention's just juvenile...

Edit: Not that this means anything, but on the question of being embarrassed about her family...Barack Obama has been slated for having a "funny name" even though it was nothing to do with him. Watching the Palin speech, I was struck by the fact of how generally bizarre her kids' names were - Track, Trig, Bristol, Piper and Willow,  Maybe that's a British thing, and there are thousands of each of them throughout America, so they just sound weird to my British ears. Just wondered if anyone would next be questioning Sarah's judgment in naming her kids after, respectively, a sporting event, a math discipline, a city, a Scotsman with an instrument and a tree...

There are information-seeking questions and then there are nit-picky focusing on minutiae questions.

Focus on substance, folks, not fluff.

But may I remind her that the Earth is not flat, the universe does not revolve around the Earth, that fossils are not a 5,000 year old joke on paleontologists, that dinosaurs did not eat cavemen (and cavewomen)...oh, and that ABSTINENCE-ONLY DOESN'T WORK.

Because she is trying to push her "family value" on us.  She wants public school to teach abstinence only s*x education so it is only fair that people point out how abstinence only does not work for Palin's family.

I don't agree with people who constantly stick their noses in politicians or celebrity family life but Palin is a Politician running for the 2nd most important position in the U.S. AND she's pushing ultra-conservative Christian family values.

I don't have a problem with teen s*x but underage pregnancy is insanely irresponsible with things the way they are today. with a pregnant teen this woman needs shut her f*cking mouth about teen absitnence
