Sadly, yes they do.

I can't understand how they can even possibly come close to thinking that makes them look cool. I don't understand why they type that way. Do they speak that way in real life? Ignorance has reached an amazing point.

I am so glad that there are actually people who get as disgusted as I do with their silly typing because they have to sit around figure out to spell those ridiculous words...they do not come up on spell check like that!!!!  And then when you complain about their spelling they bash you and thumbs down you...but that's OK with me...I'm proud that I can spell and use spell check...

I have seen some of those questions.  

  Ignorance should be painful. Unless you are speaking or typing in your native tongue, in said corresponding group, there really isn't any excuse for people who go far out of their way to make no sense.

So no. I don't think they expect to be taken seriously.

Sad but true.  I think we are living in a culture, for the first time in history since the caveman said "ugh", that such a large number of people thought they would be cool, hip and streetwise by imitating and emulating the ignorant, the vocabulary-challenged, and authentic reprobates that are really the dregs of this or any other society.  It was only a few short years ago that people strove to better themselves by increasing their command of the english language - not dumbing it down.  To elevate their intellect - not take the elevater to the basement of culture with it's noxious fumes and leaky pipes.  It's a sad day, my friend.  Like foul water seeking the lowest level.  I'm suddenly feeling a little ahnedonic, so it you all will excuse me, gotta go pop a cap in that back.  Prolly on the down-low, that m**o, dissin me on da hoo.
