Do people from India really believe in no premarital s*x?

I mean, do they actually practice this or is it that everybody is actually having s*x before marriage but nobody says anything because it would go against their culture and everything.

yeah not just people from india though, people from all over the world do (Christians for example), cultural traditions like this is what has held back AIDS from being so widespread as it has gotten today, of course seeing as people arent executed for having premarital s*x, it obviously is upheld quite so well

Some think that it is absolutely wrong to have s*x before marriage; others think that premarital s*x is okay as long as it’s with someone you love. But, it seems that almost all would agree that it is not acceptable to have s*x simply for the sake of having s*x. Yet, as s*x becomes more of a force in America, it will become less taboo among South Asians. Even now, some of the barriers are being broken by younger South Asians — but crossing the line so clearly drawn by parents will never be easy.

They have quite a few brothels in India and mysteriously a lot of Muslim countries. When my friends Muslim friend came over from Algeria his friend wanted a hooker. And he got him one. He also says there are brothels in his home town.

in India, there are the super-rich people, the reasonably well-off middle-class and then the poor people among whom 50% is illiterate.

middle-class people predominantly do not have premarital s*x.  Premarital s*x is increasing among the rich and affluent. there is almost no prevalence of aids among these 2 groups of people.

As for the poor, illiterate or the working-class, there is more variety. For instance, you have the devout and conservative. Then you have truck drivers, labourers and the like, who regularly visit brothels and among whom AIDS is growing.

Well, India is largely orthodox . Irrespective of the religion , premarital s*x is not common in India . However, in large cities and metros (like Mumbai,Delhi, Bangalore etc.. )  , it's not uncommon these days.  Even if youngsters  don't really worry about having s*x before marriage , they prefer not to make it a news . hehe..
