Question:

Do people from the countries represented at Busch Gardens Williamsburg really work there?

I go there all the time and have always wondered that. My mom said she thinks she read that they do. Does anyone know??

  1. Your Mom is correct. They go on recruitment drives in the countries looking for students who want to work for the summer or on a gap year. I'm from Ireland and I went for an interview for them a few years back.  


  2. We were there at the weekend and there were a lot of polish and Russians working  there  - but there is not  polish or Russian land there

Some people are from those countries, while others are from other countries.  I noticed a guy from Egypt, Israel and Turkey (not countries of BG Europe, but those guys work at the park).  I have also noticed that while eating at the Festhaus, the woman working at the register one time was from Holland, and the woman beside her was from Germany.

  4. They recruit people from all over, not just the countries represented at hte park.  I know the dancers in Ireland are from Ireland (at least the group that did Irish Thunder was).  Next time you're there, if you get close enough to someone who works there, check out their nametag, it'll have their name and where they're from on it.

  5. I think they find people of the corresponding ancestry, but they have to be citizens or legal residents to work there.
