Do people go to IKEA for cheap furniture or cheap food?

They go there to shop for modular, trendy and different style of furniture. Furniture is not necessarily cheap there. They eat at the restaurant because they spend so much time going through the whole store. The restaurant has very limited choices.

Neither.  IKEA doesn't specialize in food nor does it have cheap furniture.

Food is ok, but I've never heard of anyone going out of their way just to eat their swedish meatballs. It's more like they need to buy an affordable yet chic end table, some cheap kitchenware, and cute lamps and folding chairs
