Swimming is not a judged sport, there are electronic touch pads and they determine the winner. It is not like gymnastics where the judges give you a score. Idiots.

why do people hate on the ones who succeed just like when barry beat hanks record people went wild with him on steroids but barry hit mostly with people who were on steriods as well. so just get over michael phelps he won it and worked hard for it

I think it's their way of getting back at us for saying the same about gymnastics and judging. But you're right; it isn't judged by people but by technology.
