These rising gasoline prices are driving us crazy! It's after you realize in 1998, we were paying the equivalent of 15 pents per liter.

I converted US dollars into pounds, US gallons into Liters, for your convenience

  4. Lets clear this up a bit, In Britain we pay the equivalent of $8.50 per US Gallon, so in a word, no we dont feel sorry for people who pay far, far less for their fuel.

  6. Where I live in the UK it 109 pence per litre i'd love to pay 51 pence!!!!

  7. Then you should really feel bad about South Africans that pay 68 pents per Liter.  If I work it out correctly??  (Was never good in converting exchange rates)  We pay about R10.00 per liter in South Africa and the exchange rate is currently about R14.72 for one pound.
