Do people in U.S.A. watch Canadian shows or the MuchMusic Awards?

the question explains it all. do americans watxch the muchmusic music awards or hear of the culturer at all?

I've always wondered this. A while ago i visited Dallas, Texas and people kept telling me ohh it must suck there cuz its always snowing. Like, do they know nothing about Canada! There's lots of places in Canada that have normal weather lol especially where i live in (Ontario).

Once in a while i''ll hear a joke on tv talking about Canada being a snow disaster destination lool

And i think people don't know any cities in Canada either except sometimes Toronto.lolol

so, my question is....

do people recognize Canada or the Much Music Awards?

The  Red Green Show!   "Keep your stick on the ice."  

We don't get a lot of Canada's programming.  CBC's Channel 9 doesn't put out a good signal either and the telegraph poles and cell phone towers interfere with what little signal is left.  The Red Green show comes on our PBS station.
