  1. Yes. " Bush meat " is getting to be quite prevalent in many parts of Africa.


  2. Live monkey brain is a delicacy in several Asian and African countries.

  4. I don't know about Zaire in particular, but hungry people will eat anything they can catch.

    Many people think AIDS was actually a virus in monkeys and apes originally.  It was transferred to humans through blood contact, either killing them or some "other" way.

  5. I would say that if they're hungry enough, they will. Wouldn't you?
