I have a bunch of baby cereal that I got from WIC and my baby wont eat them. I dont want them to go to waste, instead I want them to go to someone who needs them, but I dunno who? I was thinking a shelter or church, but wouldn't those people get WIC? Any ideas where I should give them?

  1. I would give them to a local food bank - right now with all the problems with the economy there are a lot of people going to food banks that haven't before - they don't necissarily get WIC if they don't qualify.

If you give it to a shelter, you can bet they are needing it - you have to stay in one place and go to appointments with certain documentation to get WIC (like doctor's notes, immunizations, etc.)  Many people who live in shelters can't do this.
