  1. no.  it's a pretty mild climate, actually.  I've seen photos of people in Vancouver with t-shirts.  It's really not that cold.

    People do not wear sweaters in Vancouver in the summer much. For July and August the average temperature is 22C/71F, which most find to be perfect T-shirt weather. In the winter, sweaters are often warm enough, though not rain proof enough, since that is when the city gets the rain it is famous for.

  6. It's mild enough.  I wear sweaters all year round.  Because I like sweaters.  I'm a sweater-y person.

    I wear sweaters and shorts.  Ironically enough.  I'd say with the exception of the month of August it's totally do-able.

    You don't need much more than a sweater in the winter - maybe just a raincoat or a waterproof coat or something.
