Do people learn from their mistakes?

History is full of presidents, I only ask you to look at the history of what each president has done for us. See if they were republican or democrat. Which political party has provided for our country in a way that benefits your type needs? Then vote the party that YOU choose, don't just vote for the one that promises the most. They all lie to a certain degree. I have questions. Do you do research when it comes to voting? Do you vote based on what YOU hear or from what other people tell you about them?

And to answer your question, I do research.

  3. Apparently they do not learn from mistakes.

  4.   People can learn from there mistakes and can learn from history too if they choose to. But what past presidents and party's did does not necessarily have any bearing on current ones. Party ideologies have changed over time. It would be foolish to base my vote on what Lincoln or Wilson or anyone else did. I would look at Bush's and Clinton's record really if I wanted some idea of modern tendencies.
