Do people need to know? We don't think so...?

My boyfriend and i were friends for a long time before we started going out, and so know each other very well. We said "i love you" the first time we kissed. And we soo are....<3

But no one else knows that we're totally in love with each other and want to stay together for a very long time. Like we don't even say "I love you" to each other when our friends are there. We think they are too immature and just won't understand. I think we feel like they would belittle our relationship if they knew.

Anyways, do you think we are being too harsh on our friends and underestimating them? Or do you get it/ are in in the same situation?

If your friends would make fun of your relationship, thats some immature friends, how old are they? but i think i would start by telling them that you guys are dating, not just suddenly start saying i love you and all in front of them.

i know exactly what you mean. me and my boyfriend were the same way. then one time we just said it, and all we got were &quot;awwwwwww&quot;&#039;s. i thought they&#039;d be questioning it and evrything, &quot;belitteling&quot; us, like you said, but no. they really dont comment about it at all, and just stay silent. and honestly i dont care anymore, because i love my boyfriend so much i dont care what anybody thinks. :]

i think you two would be just fine saying it in front of your friends, but if youre not comfortable, its still ok.

I think I would belittle you. Just not when your around. I would be like WTF they say I love you on the first kiss.!

It sorta sounds like 7th grade or something. I wouldn&#039;t tell them til its been AT LEAST a month and 1/2
