Question:

Do people not believe in heroes anymore?

I saw Mad Max 1 the other day, and a character said to Max that in their world, people didn't believe in heroes anymore. Seeing how the dystopian society of the film looks so much like the current state of our world, I taught is now valid to ask it.

Also, comparing the real world to the Mad Max world, do you think, we could end up like the visions of the sequels: Road Warrior and Beyond Thunderdome, and if so, how long do you think it will be until we end up living in such a scenario?

  1. I don't see our world full of punk and metal road gangs anytime soon but I do think we are heading for a challenging time.   With the worlds population and climate changes I think that we will soon see a world where resources are fought over constantly and most of us will be living on the verge of starvation

  2. not long with these gas prices and fighting heroes are out there just arent there when we actually need them i would turn to god for help if your really needed it but thi world is so screwed up how can there be heroes anymore

  3. Yeah Just in your dreams

    WHAT????????

You mean you've missed out on Mad Max that long?  One of the best movies ever.

Heroes:  We are ALL Heroes if we follow the Truth.

"Thunderdome" sucked.  Made no sense in the series.

And No, there is too much money and Politics in the World to bring on a great "Depression" like in the latter movies.

Fear not, The World won't End just yet, but....   We are getting closer...  However, Water, not Gas, will be the most needed resource.

    Peace.
