Do u really think big business would let him get away with raising their tax? You know some people love money more than life itself.

  1. Take a look at how much he "helped" the community where he brags about being a community organizer. It's deteriorated to the point they are ready to demolish it.

  2. Sadly, No Candidate is actually talking about Low income or poverty stricken families at all. That part of America Remains under represented in Washington, because there is no money or votes in helping them. This is a downfall of all of our politicians including Obama, The Army taught me that we are only as strong as our weakest link, yet we care nothing about our weaker links.

  3. Why would you believe that Obama wants to help the poor?  Democrats have NEVER wanted to do that, they want to keep the poor dependant on the governemnt and thus a loyal voting block.  When people make something of themselves.. they tend to vote Republican.

And do you think Obama's plan to punish business is going to really benefit anybody?  What are businesses going to to?

    1) Go out of business.  And Americans lose jobs.

    2) Leave the country.  And Americans lose jobs.

    3) Raise prices / cut costs.. and Americans lose jobs and pay more for products.

None of Obama's plans will benefit the poor, they'll only hurt us ALL.

And for those of you who still don't get it.. the poor DON'T pay income tax.  They already get a free ride there.

  4. People think he will be a good president because - unlike our current president - he is very smart and honest.

  5. Lets see...raise taxes on businesses...they leave..people lose their jobs..those people no longer pay taxes to fund the welfare rolls.  Yup..that ought to really help out the poor.  Great plan, "O".

  6. Lets see how has the war on poverty gone over the past 40 years? Pretty much has not reduced the problem.

  7. I think the black community as an example, is saying he will be wonderful because they are looking for a handout.. not all but some.  It is starting already with the kids in Chicago not going to thier school because it is not as nice as the ones in the richer neighborhoods.

While I agree it would be nice if all the schools could be the same.. but the fact is.. they live in poorer neighborhoods, they pay as lot less, if any taxes.  That is what pays for better schools.. taxes... and who pays them and can pay them.. the rich.

So unless we are headed toward a communist system where we all wear grey and look alike .. this is how t is.  That is why we work hard and try to get our own families out of those neighborhoods and into better ones.  I know this.. I came from there.  I got educated in one of those schoold and I got out.

But now I think the blacks figure that Obama will deliver them from thier ghetto status just with the  flick of a pen.. it won't happen.. No one gets anything for nothing.. it just doesn't happen.

I don't mean to generalize.. I am only speaking about the black community right now because that is the item I saw on the news.. I am sure this applies to any poor neighborhood.

Lots of money needs to go into those places to help those who wnat to get ahead.. but they have to work for it too.. not just exist on food stamps and welfare.. while getting facny haircuts and jewellery and selling drugs.. and this is all people I am referring to.

So yes, people do think Obama is going to majically help low income people.. but how... has he said how?.. does anyone even listen to him.  He has no plan for this.. he thinks he will just tax the rich.. it anint gonna happen, people.  The rich will take thier jobs elsewhere.. it has happened already.

  8. No. His platform is much broader than simply the federal income tax.

  9. You are very correct. Those who love money over their country are the ones that are not patriotic. If they stop taxing the poor, maybe they can catch up and buy more from the bigger business. You would win either way. I know for a fact that if my taxes raise more, I will not give these big businesses any more of my money so they can profit off of me. I have my own bills to pay. I will shop when I have the extra revenue to use. To give the big business another tax break will only widen the gap. If I suddenly find myself with my college degree making over 50k not being able to pay more of my bills on time, do not get offended when I apply for federal funds to make sure my daughter has a hot plate of food.
