Do people pay for website directorys?

Question

I am starting a website directory & there is a option in the software to charge for the directory service. Do people actually pay for this type of service? The website name is iseeq.net so I assume that is a good name for the directory website that should attract visitors.

well for me i didnt pay any directory to got listed in it but in the end its up to u to choise there is alot of thousands of free dirs to submit into and get good backlinks with good traffic also

so ill say no but if u want to pay for a dir to get listed in it so just pay for yahoo directory cuz its bring alot of visitors with a good back link

and in the end u need to read more about seo so i recommand to check this blog its start from the scratch with seo beginers
