i dont believe that, the burger king i work at has words on it, since all employees here can read...

Maybe not all of them do, but some do. If I'm not mistaken McDonalds is one that has them.

Sorry, a lot of McDonald's here DO have photos on them.  I've looked over the counter, plus, my husband always have to lean over and show the guy how to ring up a Daily Double as not all McDonald's still have those on the menu.  So, to avoid the big discussion about if we could order one or not, the manager showed my husband what to tell the cashier on future visits.

i worked at mcd's about 10 years ago and there were no pics on the registers then.  who knows, maybe there are now, then at least you can eliminate one pesky life skill neccessary for working there...literacy!

Not necessarily pictures, but I'm sure they have some sort of code...more for insuring order accuracy than helping out dumb employees.

I used to work at Chick-fil-A and we had pictures on the touch-screen registers.

I work for McDonald's and our registers do not have pictures on them. Contrary to what people think about McDonald's workers WE CAN READ and do not need pictures.
