He will be able to guard the point. I think he will be able to play the point because that was his position in high school.  He would average triple doubles in high school playing the point so I think since he's been in the league for a bit now he can adjust to playing the point. Of course he'll have some troubles but that's part of it.

He can defiantly score and paly defense but idk about being the leader on the floor

Yes, he can play the POINT. Will he be effective at the POINT? I don't know.

yeah other people. not me. ellis is gonna be top 5 in scoring, maggette is gonna pout about not getting enough shots, al harrington wants out and no one will take him, stephen jackson will do something stupid... hes good for that, and the warriors will be out of the playoffs.

I think Monta Ellis can guard the point, but im not too convinced on his passing.  He is average 4 assists a game over the last two years playing primarily in the SG position.  WHo knows.

We got Marcus Williams to back up Ellis too.  But I really think next year is the year Monta takes off.
