  1. I was on a flight where someone threw up.  The plane stopped at Newark, and I was staying on the same plane, but the person who threw up got off and some other guy got on and started to sit in the seat that had been thrown up all over.  I tried to tell him not to sit there, but he spoke no English, and I didn't speak his language, so it was difficult to convey what I was trying to say with hand motions, but I managed to, and he got assigned to a different flight.

  2. Do you think they'd put sick bags in the back seat pockets for nothing?

    It's rare but does happen.

    Stinks throughout the plane then..

    It's really not pleasent!

  3. I was on a shuttle flight from Washington DC to New York and it was a very, very rough flight with turbulence tossing the plane.

The real fun started when one passenger grabbed his barf bag and threw up.  The sound of the retching started a chain reaction and at least 3/4 of the passengers began to toss their cookies.  The stewardess had a terrible day collecting the full bags and handing out new bags.  It did not bother me and the stewardess actually got mad at me when I asked for a soda.

    Yes, this is 100% true.

  4. yes all the time, it has something to do with ur equilibrium

  5. yes unfortunately i have thrown up on a plane before. i was about 5 months pregnant or so and it wasnt related to morning sickness but by the food i eat on the plane. i was flying to Indonesia and the plane food has sea-weed soup with some other spicy fish stuff, and i was so hungry and unaware about it being fish and seafood, so as soon as i was done i ran to the lavatory and puked my guts out, i came out and sat in my seat smelling of regurgitated plane food and my throat on fire. it was awful, but who ever was sitting next to me will never see me again and i'll never eat that food again so i didnt stress it

  6. Take an aerial tour of the Grand Canyon in April or early May. Not only will you witness this, you could become a participant as well. The most bags that I've seen someone use on a single trip was three. That's only for a 55 minute tour too! So far, "Ol' Three Bagger" holds the prize.

Any takers out there want to beat that record?

  7. I have too.  NEVER fly hungover even if it's only a little bit.

  8. Maybe very hard turbulence may make people want to throw up. Or if they're are sick. And if they do throw up you want them to have a bag where to do it!!

  9. Yes, very few people have motion sickness and altitude sickness, although it happens very rarely.

  10. I did flying back from Hawaii in 05.  I didn't know it at the time, but was passing a kidney stone.  My back hurt so bad and I was sick to my stomache and just couldn't keep anything down.  I felt so bad for the guy in the plane seat next to me.
