If they do, then what is the secret? My husband and I spent a couple of days in Tunica, MS and lost almost a thousand bucks.

  1. Siome people do end up winning but more people lose than win cos the odds are stacked against you.

I wouldn't bother in future if i were you, you'll lose more than you'll win in the long run.

  2. Do you think they build all those big fancy casinos with the money they give away? They pay back about 95% of what they take in. You can win occasionally if you are smart enough to quit when you're ahead.

  3. I have won and lost. The percentages show that the longer you play, the more of your stake will lose. I live in Las Vegas and plan my gambling for entertainment. The only real bets I make are on sports.

  4. Remember, what "money" happens "to be lost" in Vegas, stays in Vegas.

All games are set up with the odds in the houses favor.

Going on a lucky streak is the only way to come out ahead.

  5. Casinos have games with very small house advantages in them, the longer you play, your actual gain/loss will become closer to the mathematical expected loss, which also becomes larger the more you play, however due to the size of bets and the extremely tiny edge the casinos has, it is very unlikely that you will be exactly on that number.  Instead you will be somehwere near that number and for a playing time of a few hours 40% is a fair gustimate to the probibility of seeing positive winnings.  It does depend on the games you are playing but this is ballpark.  As you play more and more, the odds of remaining in the realm of positive winnings approaches 0% so eventually you will lose money.

So in general, the secret is to play as little as possible, the less you play the better the possibility that the sum of your wins and losses will be greater than zero,  The probibility of walking away with money will never benefit you thought unless you learn to gain and advantage by some means like counting cards.

  6. The odds for every game are stacked in the casino's favor. Some people win, most lose. Occasionally someone wins big, but usually people win a bit, lose a bit more, and go home with their wallet lighter than it was when they arrived.

  7. I would say you came home with a winner....at least you got to get out and have a good time with the hubby=)

  8. It's what's known as "short term luck" (excluding the few games like poker where your skill can give you an advantage) in the long run everybody loses.

  9. There is no secret, just good money managment. I follow the slot tips from this site (see source). They have an ebook on winning at  slots for about $10 bucks.

I met the site owner while playing Enchanted Unicorn at a nearby land casino. He was sitting next to me and showed me some tips. He told me to visit his site and email him and he'd send me the guide for free. He did send it.

It took me a while to remember what to do, but while I was playing I started to remember some of the advice. One thing I remember is it said most players just sit there and press the button at the same wager and watch it take all their money. It said when you see this change the wager and or paylines or both until it starts to hit. If it doesn't cash out and try another machine.

I don't win everytime but I definately lose much less and do win more than I did before.

    Good Luck

  10. you win 20% of the time no matter what

  11. yes. but you'll only win 1-100 dollars if you actually quit playing.

  12. there is no secret. People who are expierenced gamblers do well at the tables, and people do get lucky. The casino always wins, there is a reason why the owners are so rich and they can pay for all that energy they use. I would play free online games, poker, texas hold em ect. to get a hang of it then go to a casino. I would stay in the mind frame that you are just going to have fun, not to make money. You will always win. :)

  13. Casinos are in business to make money.

You stand a better chance of wining at

table games, than you do slots. Mostly

it's a matter of luck, being in the right

    place at the right time.

  14. Sometimes you win . But the casino will always come out ahead or they couldn't stay in business.I like the slots, and the most that I have won at one time is 2700.00. Object of gambling is to not take more than you can afford to lose. And also remember that you are really there to have fun and if you get lucky then thats the extra icing on the cake.
