Do people recycle a lot?

Question

Have you heard of freecycle where people that are upgrading etc give away good items instead of dumping it on the tips/skips. Would you do this? I have and find it excellent. Would it make you recycle more knowing your junk is worth a lot to others?

Freecycle is on yahoo groups check your local area, Hopefully we can lower our rubbish.

I recycle mine and everybody else's who wants to, Christmas Cards. This year I received over 5,000 Christmas Cards to recycle. I have sent them to various children's Hospices, so that they can make their own cards, or use them for arts and crafts. It's been a wonderful year for recycling. :)

i haven't Freecycled much.

the worst thing is if mobody wants it and you have it hanging around. you can easily be put off like that.

some people don't want their rejects going to someone else and would rather see them in the ground.

I think Freecycle is a great idea. Why not give it to someone for free and help them out.
