  1. I like "lemmings" better myself. Little rodent like creatures so much like little georgie and his followers.

  2. no, thats not sheepish behavior.  people that follow a candidate without knowing their politics or beliefs are known as sheeple.

people that follow a candidate that represents what that person believes in is active in politics.

and sheeple is much more fun to use, so try tha tinstead of sheep, or lemmings

  3. Sheep follow other sheep simply because they move in a direction.  -any direction-

Following a flock because you believe the flock is heading in the right direction is a different type of sheep.

Mostly it depends on what the reason is you share with that other person:)

You are not a sheep if you actually 'consider' other options.

(Rather tired so fogive me this once if my answer seems to ramble)

  4. woolly usually horned ruminant mammal related to the goat.

I admit, I avoid this, because I, too, am a ruminant.

  5. A "sheep" or "sheeple" or "lemming" is someone who just follows the crowd without actually giving their own consideration to the issues.

If I agree with someone on the issues and follow them, I am not a sheep because my decision to follow them is based on shared opinions.  If I blindly follow someone's lead without thinking for myself, however, I am a sheep.

Of course, I would NEVER do that!  ;-)  I have a degree in American Politics and thinking for myself is way too much fun to ever give up!

  6. not only because it's for the same reason. If you agree to that reason and have made your own choice then it is not being a sheep. Aside from the fact that your "following" someone in the 1st place. We can differentiate between support and follow i think depending on severity of loyalty.

  7. No, maybe they just do not think much of  your thought.

  8. yep.http://www.biblebelievers.org.au/bb97021...

  9. I don't know Barack Obama personally.  I don't know John McCain personally.  I don't know any other candidates personally.

My only source for information on any candidate is the media and what other people say.

I suspect it's the same for you.

Does trusting other people (albeit after listening critically and thinking) make me a sheep?

Maybe so.  But I would rather be a sheep than an ostrich.

  10. No,  sheeple
