Do people seriously insure their bodies?

like i've read (mostly with celebrities) about having bodies insured for stupid amounts of money.

are they serious or is it just an expression?

yer...cos if they break...thay can claim for a privat hospital

No, its actually serious. Heidi Klums and Rihannas legs are insured for $1 million! $500,000 for each leg to be specific.

If you're income is generated from looking good. Ie your a model.... Then having something happen to your body could mean you no longer can use it as a form of income... hence they get it insured.

*Yes !! Its true that people do insure their bodies or parts of their body ....... esp..ly if they earn their livelihood by making use of it !!!

e.g singers their voice, dancers their legs , skilled people .. their hands etc etc !!!!☺
