  1. 9 times out of ten, that's why I DON'T signal when changing lanes.

To MOST people, a signal means "UH-OH, this clown wants to get in MY lane,so I must speed up and block them"

  2. i do that, everyone does that but did you know its illegal to do that????!!!!!!!!

i was reading over the DMV book and it said that was abusive/reckless driving

now how the h**l is that abusive or reckless driving?

to the guy below me yup it makes you a reckless driver at least in virginia (the state with the dumbest laws in the world)

  3. Yes, I am afraid I tend to speed up, if I notice someone acting antsy or squirrely, but usually relent and slow down and let them merge into my lane, although reluctantly.

  4. Too many drivers think the morning commute is a contest.  Such a hurry, and they're only on their way to work for somebody else.

  5. wth?

  6. Like... Merging into my lane? Yes and no. If thier lane is ending and they are just trying to merge, I'll absolutely slow down and let them in. If they're a jerk who was behind me and is passing me on the inside, I'll rapidly close the gap and not let him in. Yes, I tend to give myself an unusual lot of space between me and the guy I am following, but I am not moving slower, I am keeping pace with the guy infront of me. The extra space is NOT an invitation for people to get in front of me because they want to move one car ahead...

I guess that makes me reckless huh...
