Do people still get hair highlighted with caps?

As far as I know, "chunking caps" are still common. You can get them at beauty supply shops like Sally Beauty Supply, anyway. Highlighting kits (in the hair dye aisle) often include a disposable cap with the holes in it like that.

yea, alot of people with shorter hair do. my mom does. i even know some people w/ long hair who do it.

I do. It looks fabulous. My stylist say's she likes to use the caps when it comes to long hair and that it's easier to do without the cap when the hair is short.

The most common reason hair is pulled through a cap is because the person has very short hair and the foil would slip if put on very short hair.
