After Clinton, Republican Party won by a narrow margin. What about this term? Do voters usually consider Bush Administration successful or lacking in something?

  1. When I get in the booth I am pushing D for democrat. The republicans are more concerned for the rich and not the middle class who are the real Americans. If it was'nt for us the rich in this country would not be $hit!

  2. yes it does happen that way and it is the most stupid thing i ever heard of because that one issue is the most important to them they think who ever is in there is wrong i am not so sure we ever had a good president in everyone eye ... I think that with clinton the public didn't know the truth about what all he knew about the threat to America and he ignored it all and then when Bush got in there he had to do something because i think Clinton shifted it to him instead of dealing with it himself and we lost several lives because of this but the public blames it all on Bush and when they was deciding on whether to go to war or not it wasn't just Bush who decided this it was also some dem that was behind him but now they are all shifting the blame to him so basicly i see it as the dem shifted the problem and the blame to the republican party because they don't have the guts to deal with it and knew when it went like this that they could always blame the republican side now they want back in to do what? Retreat and put American back in danger if they get lucky it won't happen until the end of the term like with Clinton then they can shift it back again they get in there and either make it worse or cowardly let others run over America or else they get in there then when problems happen they ignore it until they can get out...Sure we all don't like something but that isn't enough to change right now when we have someone in the middle of something they need to keep the plan and finish it instead of bringing in a new wet behind the ear kid to mess it up worse but you are right American people want change when they think the president isn't doing what he needs to but the problem with that is why would they want the unknown change and how can they be sure the change they get is going to be better???

  3. They certainly do. Notice McCain has made attempts to distance himself from the policies of the Bush Admin?

But generally people won't put it in terms of "voting for the opposite party," theyre really voting for a different take on an issue that the current party handled unsuccessfully.

  4. i do not believe so, generally most people are democratic or republican and tend to stick with there party. bush has done an acceptable job.

  5. historically, this happens all the time. and yes,the Bush administartion in general has been seen as a failure by political experts.

  6. I HOPE SO! BECAUSE ANYONE RIGHT NOW IN REPUBLICAN PARTY IS BRAINWASHED BY THAT LOSER OF A PRESIDENT WE CALL BUSH! Obama has to make it or I am moving to another country! DON'T SAY I WONT!

  7. It depends on how you define "unsuccessful".  Hopefully you can come up with some unbiased definition however impossible I see that in the situation you're addressing, but whether a President is successful or unsuccessful is largely a matter of opinion.  As to whether people tend to vote for the opposite party after sometime under the administration of one party is more a typical brainless approach that I've seen this populace use since the 1960 when JFK was elected after we had 8 years under D.D. Eisenhower, and then after JFK and his VP, LBJ, we went to Richard Nixon (who should have been elected in 1960 since he was more intelligent and knew the facts better and was more dedicated to the American pursuit of excellence), and after him we turned in our "knee-jerk intelligence" to Jimmy Carter and then after him we went to Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush and then clinton and then George W. Bush.  It's not a matter of intelligent choices here.  It's a matter of untelligent and misguided / media-guided voting, and reveals the most ignorant and mentally lazy populace that has ever existed on planet earth (except me, of course :-)))))))))))))) )  God Bless you.

  8. Buffy, why wait? Move now, wont see alot of us shedding tears. As far as the question goes, I think some people do tend to do that. Im not a fan of liberal politics, but I do think its best if one party doesnt control all branches of government. Shouldnt matter in the judicial branch but it does. If Obama wins the election you better pray the Republicans gain control of at least one part of congress or as much as I hate to even mention it, have enough seats to filibuster everything the way the dems did when they didnt have control.

  9. not that you say it i kinda do see it. i mean when Bush was first elected it sounded like everybody was a republican and now it kinda seems like everybody is a democrate. sounds just like the people at my old highschool. everybody hated soccer until there was a huge game then everybody loved soccer. or nobody knew anything about boxing and probably couldnt even name 3 fighters and when there is a big fight everybody seemed like a huge boxing fan but they couldnt name any fighter other than the 2 that were fighting
