He just tells it like it is. I mean do you honestly think that Ozzie is the ONLY manager that has sent out the signal to hit a batter on purpose? It's done all the time. The difference is that other managers control their mouths and always try to be like PR people. Ozzie, on the other hand, just says whatever comes to mind and then deals with the consequences afterwards. To be honest with you I don't have a problem with Ozzie at all. In fact, doesn't he remind you of that ONE friend that just always seem to say the wrong thing at the wrong time, but you know he means no harm?

Tells it like it is., He's just hyper and highstrung. and he has a couple rings, so who cares.       Listening to Piniella talk makes me yawn and it makes me out of breath. It sounds like he is constantly out of breath. Maybe he has emphazyma. But at least he has his legs

Tells is like it is. The MLB commissioner, press and media are the idiots. If you're a fan of the game and understand its history you understand exactly what he meant by his comments. Bud Selig panders to what he thinks he should say to be politically correct. The press mirrors what he says because they want to be PC as well. We all know Baseball managers at all levels of game sometimes instruct pitchers to hit a batter. It's part of the game and anyone who believes otherwise OR believes it should not be part of the game does not understand baseball in the games entirety.

A little bit of both. He pulls no punches, and he will say just what he thinks, and that's a respectable quality. Unfortunately for him, he sometimes doesn't know where the line is and gets himself in some hot spots.

I think it's a combo of both.  He's an idiot who tells it like it is.  I'm not a White Sox fan by any means, but I like that he doesn't take c**p from anyone but he takes it too far sometimes.
