This video made me wonder, do most people usually vomit during centrifugal training in the Air Force, during training to become a pilot?

  1. Looks like it happened here, although I've never known anyone who has, and my trips through the 'fuge didn't yield any upset stomachs.  G-measles however, that's another story.

  2. Not necessarily, but you are pushing the fluids of your stomach up your esophagus at several times the force of gravity.

  3. No, actually it's positive-G which means your stomach is being pushed down. It would be possible with rapid head movements, which at least one of the guys did.  Airsickness occurs when one's eyes don't match up with what the inner ear's telling you. There was also probably some "test anxiety" frankly.
