what i am saying is if someone who had done drugs or at least tried it automatically considered losers and will never succeed in life, like accomplishing their goals or dreams. i am not trying to be offensive, in fact i did pot like 3 times, but with all the advertisements and negativity am i considered to never succeed in my goals, because i was hoping to become a politician or an army officer, my friend told me that people who drink, smoke, did or do drugs have no ambition and will never succeed in getting a career and stuff. he does not do anything but hes making me feel really bad about myself. for example, he said that i will unlikely become a politician because i smoked pot and no one will accept me into universities, while he proclaims himself to be perfect and likely to succeed? but really what is the logical fact????

  1. i would say this is just a stereotypical statement than true. but it is very typical cus drugs are addictive. but i think someone who has succeeded with weed is lil wayne. he makes all his songs when he's high. but every one loves his quotes & his music. cus i def. do :D lol but don't take it like if you do drugs you'll be fine. remember lil wayne is a millionaire. it wouldn't matter what he did. but it obviously does for you ;

  2. Although I don't condone drug usage, I just wanted to mention that many, many famous scientists, writers, musicians, and artists were on drugs! LSD was a big one. And cocaine was too.

    Cracked.com has a fun article about this - called The 5 Greatest Things Ever Accomplished While High... and great they are!!

  3. The logical fact is that your friend is being a huge douche bag and he needs to get off his high horse.  Smoking pot 3 times isn't going to hold you back in life unless you've been convicted of it and it's on your record.

    I've smoked it FOUR times and I'm on the dean's list at school and I've lived successfully by myself for years.

    His argument would hold more water if he were talking about people who drink and do drugs so much that it interferes with their lives.  Not someone who's tried it a few times.

  4. Experimenting with drugs really has no effect on whether or not you succeed.  Most people at least try some kind of intoxicant.  Being a debelitated drug addict is an obstacle.  There is a big difference between the two.  Don't pay attention to those anti-pot ads.  They are propaganga used in an attempt to scare instead of educate.
