I don't get it I thought Bush was meant to be incredibly unpopular at the moment in the US and McCain has voted with Bush 90% of the time as Obama pointed out. Shouldn't that make McCain quite unpopular as well. Or is he, but the media isn't telling us his level of unpopularity.

  1. People who support McCain are looking at the next possible President. We are not dwelling the past, or in another nations business. Don't you have your own country to worry about?

Since Bush can only vote for anything that a regular citizen can vote for, I don't see what the problem is. Bush can't vote in Congress, he is not in the Senate.

To answer your question: Some do, some don't.

  2. i think it should be every other.

    dem

    rep

    dem

    rep

    steady.

    reps ruin

    dems revive

  3. Yes, I do.  I want dead terrorists, peace in Israel, and radical Islam wiped out.

  4. Mcclain have the same ideas as Bush to vote 90% of the time

with him so that tells you if elected that things will be the same

which is scary. Obama on the other hand has better Idea's and

we definitely should give him the chance.

  5. GO MCCAIN!

    He can REALLY defend us.

Iran is threat, Obama doesn't understand it. McCain does.

We've social problems. Obama doesn't understand it. McCain does.

    GO McCain! GO USA!

  6. Be careful with that 90% number.  The vast majority of Senate votes are unanimous votes like recognizing a Boy Scout troop and stupidity like that, so the 90% number gives a false impression of McCain's positions.

  7. No. We don't.

But we fear that Obama will be worse.

Bush wasn't great, but his first 4 years were certainly decent.  Presidents aren't the chief people to blame for economic downturn.  Economies move in cycles.

And those 10% of things that McCain voted differently on might have been the 10% that caused the most problems for Bush.

  8. What I am trying to figure out is if McCain voted with Pres Bush 90% of the time right?  Wouldn't the Majority of Congress also vote that way?  Seeing as how the president doesn't vote in the Legislature but signs what is sent to him. And what is sent needs a majority to get sent?   I just think we as a constituency need to do our research rather than listen to only our party then make an informed decision rather than spew talking points at one another

  9. No and Mr Bush is not that unpopular Any one who would use the name of a dead failure would not know this

  10. You have been duped into blaming Bush for essentially all of the enormously expensive disasters that have befallen the US in the last 8 years.

The events of 9/11, Katrina and Rita, the World Com fiascoes, the housing refinance scandals, the world's increased energy demands, etc......etc.......

How many disasters can you list during Clinton's terms?

  11. No, but thankfully, Bush isn't running this year.

McCain can't vote with Bush 90% of the time, because Bush doesn't vote.

Now, Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden both said that McCain would be a better President than Obama.  They also said that they can't tell the difference between McCain and Bush.  That means that they think Bush is a better President than Obama would be.  Obama's running mate said that Obama's worse than Bush.  That's good enough for me.

  12. They just don't think about it, or don't remember. They are like McCain who is afflicted with selective memory. Poor souls have lost their bearings and think everything Bush did was great.

  13. Yes.

Don't forget, the President is currently THREE TIMES more popular than the Democrats curently in office.

  14. Are you refering to the setup of 9/11?
