I always seem to see better than my friends who don't need glasses. I wear contacts. Of course if I didn't wear them my vision would be horrible, but I do wear them, so on a daily basis I have better vision than them.

  1. i wear contacts most of the time and glasses sometimes.

and if you see better than your friends then it might mean that they need glasses/contacts, or maybe they can see just enough, their vision might not be perfect but not bad enough to have to get glasses/contacts. So you probably do see better than some, although glasses/contacts are made so you can see

everything like a normal human, who doesn't need them.

  2. My contacts really sharpened my vision to about 20/15, so yes, but I can see as good as that now after lasik.  I would say glasses can not make your vision better than normal 20/20 if that, there's too much distortion from the curve in the lens and there's no peripheral vision.

The above answers are wrong - many opticians can make your vision better than 20/20 with contact Rx's and mine usually did.

  3. No.  All corrective lenses do is make your eyesight normal.  If you see better with your lenses than your friends do, then your friends need to get their eyes checked.

  4. I completely agree with Cajun.  He's  right on target.

If you see better than they do with your corrective lenses, then they probably need to get examined for glasses.

  5. it depends you could be seeing better than your friends but mayb your correction is to 20/15 and your friend may only have 20/20

  6. I don't think so. Even with glasses or contact lenses, my distance vision still isn't as sharp as it is with those who have normal vision or are farsighted. I notice it most with street signs. People who are with me can almost always read them from a greater distance than I can.
