In my opinion they do get treated differently. It's not fair on them. They could be really nice and ask someone out but they dont want to cos of something, the glasses. In my eyes if someone wears glasses they are seen as intelligent, unfit (doesnt work out). But half of the time they're not. It does my head it. What do you think on this?

  1. Eh, the only thing I notice is that people say I look more intelligent with glasses. That's not a bad thing. In my opinion, people with glasses did get asked out less in the past back when glasses were huge. There's many more options for frames now. Many are small and stylish.

I do plan on getting laser eye surgery in the future. I've worn glasses since I was nine and I get tired of looking at them sometimes.

  2. I have glasses and think sometimes I get treated differently in different ways. Example: people assume I'm smart just because I have glasses or that I'm nerdy for the same reason.

If I wear my glasses to go out (clubbing or whatnot) I get fewer people flirting with me.

  3. yes you are right the ose people who wear glasses are treated differently .they are considered some what entelligent ,nerdy .geeky.you know some thing I am from Pakistan ,even there (as you know that people have arranged marriages ,through match makers )even those people would not let their sons marry the girls who wore   glasses .tthey would reject those girls .thats was not nice thing to do .but things are changed now contacts are there to help them over there too .

  4. Well, I wear glasses and I get asked out a lot. I am fit and rather attractive. To say what you've said makes you sound quite ignorant, indeed.

  5. It does sometimes my friend wears glasses and she doesn`t get treated differntly it depends what people are like

    take care
