Orientals for example have slightly narrower eyes than most other races. So does that mean that they see a narrower world compared to the rest of us? Mind boggling isn't it.

  1. well you see out of your pupil the black circle in the middle so if that is being obsructed then i yes but i dont think it is obstructed on orientals

  2. i doubt it

  3. uhh...NO! their eyes are just shaped different, but i actually don't think they are any more narrow than anyone else's really...

  4. umm.. odd question and no

  5. hmmmm i wonder the same thing

  6. Generally your field of vision depends on how exposed your pupil is and not how your eyelids are shaped. I've had an Asian friend who needed surgery when she was younger because her eyes were narrow and obstructed her vision, so it does happen.

One way you can test this is open your eyes a lot wider than normal and see if your field of vision changes.

  7. hahaha yes very mind boggling. well, i'd say no, because the chinese are some of the smartest people in the world.

  8. sir... i think you have thought of the most intriguing question ever

  9. No, I don't think so.

And just a tip, people don't like being called Oriental. Don't do it in the real world.  (I found out the hard way lol)

  10. Good question...I don't know! ********Star for you though ******

  11. this sounds racist but it sounds like a valid question.

I went to high school in Hawaii were the majority of the population is Japanese/Chinese/ Filipino so I have many Asian friends. While im sure their range of sight is a very very VERY TINY bit smaller than white people  and black people its not enough to make a difference.

this reminds me of a story my grandpa told me. In World War II an American general believed that the Japanese troops could not attack his base at night because he believed that the Japanese had such small eyes that they couldnt see well enough at night. LOL HAHAA and you can imagine what happened to his base....

  12. i dont think so... i am oriental but i dont think my mindset is narrower than anybody...i understand and consider so many things in life<including ridiculous ones> but i get to chose in things i deem only acceptable to my standards. i believe a person's choices and actions are all influenced by what they perceive as principles to them... while a policy is adjustable depending upon circumstances, a principle is a standard for which a certain policy is measured upon. any oriental can be as narrowminded as everyone else who jumps at conclusions without sufficient evidence or without fair unbiased judgment over presented facts.
