  1. You can roast them and when they are cold you can put them in your salad but they are great raw

  2. No no! Have them raw and crunchy, taste the natural goodness. Just slice it thinly so as not to put off first timer.

  3. Nope but you can do strips of pepper or just do little cubes!

Either way, it tastes darn good.

    Enjoy!

  4. yes fried

  5. no,best eaten raw in salads

  6. no

  7. No they are able to be eaten raw in salad,a selection of green, red, and yellow sliced thinly are delicious.

  8. they are great to eat when they are raw and crisp. You can also roast them and mix with arugula and pine nuts like what the Italians doing.it is very delicious with extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar..

  9. No.

  10. No way, Sparkle!

Just wash them and eat them raw and crispy.

    Yum!

  11. No, you don't have too cook them

  12. no.....peoples sometimes just eat them fresh because they taste really fresh and sweet.....i think they're cooked in soups and things because the juices spread into the soup and give it a wonderful taste.......i would personally put red and yellow peppers in your salad as they have a very sweet taste.....whereas the green peppers tend to taste slightly bitter........

  13. Sweet peppers? No! They are gorgeous sliced in a salad - the sweeter ones are orange and yellow, red is in the middle and green is a little more savoury.

  14. Not necessarily.

  15. No, if you cook them they go soggy & lose a lot of their taste, eat them raw & enjoy the full flavour. I grow my own & only cook them when I add them to stew or soup, I do enjoy them stuffed with chilli or mince though,(baked).Try them raw filled with cottage cheese  or Tuna & Mayonnaise.

  16. I'd say raw, just be careful that most food poisoning comes from raw vegetables. Lately they've set out a warning for spinach, bell peppers and tomatoes just to mention a few (some Yahoo! article). But chances are that if you have a good immune system you don't have to worry. Either way, the size of the chunks is up to your tastes. A friend of mine works in her own restaurant and slices hers in long pieces.

It is all a matter of tastes. If you like raw peppers then go ahead an put them in there. It wouldn't hurt to quickly stir fry them in a pan at a high temperature just long enough to kill whatever is crawling on it but keep it nice and crunchy. Though I think you need a Wok to do that.

  17. No they are better raw, just make sure they are not in too bigger chunks otherwise they will overpower the rest of the salad.

  18. No, just washed.

  19. No they are better crispy crunchy

  20. i love raw bell peppers in leafy green salads.  They add color, nutrients, and crunch to a salad.  It's the best thing in my opinion.  I love the green ones, red ones, yellow and orange ones.  A bit of vinegar and oil and pepper, and you are good to go.
